Job summary

Beep is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to own accurate, compliant payroll and benefits programs for a multistate workforce in Miami. This role works closely with HR, Finance, and vendors to ensure smooth payroll operations and benefits administration onsite with a potential hybrid schedule.

The position requires 2–4 years in payroll processing and benefits, solid knowledge of payroll tax rules, and experience with HRIS platforms. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of combined experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time for hourly, salaried, and multi-state employees.
• Audit timekeeping data, pay changes, bonuses, commissions, and off-cycle payments.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax and wage-and-hour regulations (FLSA).
• Administer health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement programs (401(k)).
• Lead open enrollment activities and employee communications.
