Job summary

Chess Wizards is seeking enthusiastic instructors to lead after-school chess classes for elementary students in Miami, FL. You will teach a structured curriculum, foster a fun learning environment, and manage a lively classroom at partnering schools.

Choose 1–5 classes per week, with afternoon sessions from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Instructors earn $50–$65 per class, with mileage reimbursement for trips over 15 miles one way. Training provided and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, camp counseling, or similar).
• Ability to lead a class independently and create interactive, engaging sessions.
• Reliable, punctual, and kid-friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students.
• Teach chess fundamentals using a structured curriculum.
• Manage a lively classroom with confidence and positivity.
• Travel to various local school sites for sessions.
