Job summary

Home Helpers of AR is seeking a dependable Area Care Tech to support clients across multiple homes. You’ll provide personal care, companionship, and help with daily tasks while ensuring safety and comfort.

This role offers flexibility, requires a valid CNA/PCA license or willingness to obtain, a driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a passion for making a difference in clients’ lives. Travel across assigned areas is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• CNA or PCA license preferred or willingness to become PCA.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Clean background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Support safe mobility and transfers.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Document care activities and report changes in client condition.
• Respond quickly to client needs across assigned homes.

What You’ll Do:

As an ACT, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of care across multiple clients and locations. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting with personal hygiene and grooming
• Supporting safe mobility and transfers
• Performing light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Documenting care activities and reporting any changes in client condition
• Responding quickly to client needs in various homes across assigned areas

What We’re Looking For:

• Age 18 or older
• Active CNA or PCA license (preferred) OR Willing to become PCA.
• Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation
• Current auto insurance
• Clean background check and drug screening
• Willingness to travel to client homes as needed
