Job summary

Herbruck’s is seeking a Full Time Hourly Manual Labor role in Saranac, MI. The position focuses on maintaining product flow and ensuring compliance with quality standards on the floor.

Responsibilities include setting up materials, running lists, and daily housekeeping to maintain a safe, compliant work environment. Candidates must be 18+, follow SOPs, complete LMS assessments, and be flexible for weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Follows SOP and training materials; assists in cross-training.
• Passes job-required Observation and Assessment on LMS.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• No routine contact with swine, birds, cattle, goats, sheep, or unprocessed eggs.

Position Summary:

Maintain product flow, ensuring all product is handled in compliance with Herbruck’s Quality Standards

Responsibilities:

• Set up material/machine according to the daily run list
• Review and update run list
• Initial startup of day for all materials to be used for packaging as assigned
• Maintain cleanliness of area each day
• Maintain customer guidelines and make sure they are being met on the floor
• Monitor materials during product change to ensure customer compliance
• Make sure work schedule is followed on the floor
• Complete daily paperwork
• Ability to assign duties and direct members as needed
• Follow all customer glove policies
• Must follow all company Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) rules and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse, neglect, or breach of biosecurity to preserve the health and welfare of our birds

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• For internal transfers, you must have no written warnings for attendance or conduct.
• Follows standard operating procedures (SOP) and training material requirements and can assist new members and/or cross-training members.
• Must be able to pass job-required Observation and Assessment on LMS (by Lead/Supervisor)
• Willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays as assigned
• Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine, birds, cattle, goats, sheep, or unprocessed eggs.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors
• Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least 25 lbs. continuously throughout the day
