Job summary

Herbruck Poultry Ranch in Kendallville, IN is hiring for the IN - Processing IV. This hourly, full-time role focuses on maintaining product flow and compliance with quality standards on the processing floor.

You will set up materials, review run lists, start up daily operations, and ensure safety, GMP, HACCP, and animal welfare guidelines are followed. The role requires flexibility including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass job required Observation and Assessment on LMS.
• Follows standard operating procedures (SOP) and training material requirements.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
• Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine, birds, cattle, goats, sheep or unprocessed eggs.

Responsibilities

• Ability to assign duties and direct members as needed.
• Follow all customer glove policies.
• Must follow all company HACCP rules and GMP.
• Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse neglect, or breach of biosecurity.

Position Summary:

• Must follow all company Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) rules and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse neglect, or breach of biosecurity to preserve the health and welfare of our birds

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• For internal transfers you must have no written warnings for attendance or conduct.
• Follows standard operating procedures (SOP) and training material requirements and can assist new members and/or cross-training members.
• Must be able to pass job required Observation and Assessment on LMS (by Lead/Supervisor)
• Willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays as assigned
• Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine, birds, cattle, goats, sheep or unprocessed eggs.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors
• Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least 25 lbs. continuously throughout the day
