UPS is seeking an MBA or Master of Human Resources (MHR) Intern to drive the daily operations and shared goals of the HR Department. The MHR Internship Program prepares the next generation of HR professionals for success through skill development, networking opportunities, mentorship, and exposure to various HR business departments.
Interns will take ownership over meaningful, high‑impact assignments and present these capstone projects to the Human Resource Leadership Team (HRLT) at the end of the internship. Leadership will identify top talent with potential for future opportunities such as a full‑time role in the Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLDP), a rotational program for post‑graduation. The HRLDP further develops HR leaders through training, mentorship, and working in various HR roles.
We seek candidates who are complex problem solvers with the ability to align ideas to long‑term business goals and exhibit great communication, time‑management, and leadership skills. The internship will be located at UPS Global Headquarters in Atlanta, GA and candidates will be expected to relocate for the duration of the internship.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Creates a solution and path forward for a real business need
- Conducts meaningful research using data to support the capstone project and produces deliverables
- Assists in the development and improvement of company practices
- Builds relationships with key stakeholders as they relate to capstone project responsibilities
- Ensures alignment to company, business‑unit, and stakeholder long‑term strategies and goals
- Engages in training and development opportunities
- Participates in intern events to expand knowledge of UPS and engage with senior leaders
- Meets with mentors for assistance navigating UPS and identifying career development opportunities
- Encourages diversity of thought, experience, and ideas
- Presents final capstone project to HR leadership at the end of the internship program

Basic Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
- Ability to be in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate
- Currently enrolled in a master’s or MBA program with a preferred course of study in Human Resources Management
