Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota seeks an experienced MHPAEA Compliance professional to lead parity initiatives, collaborating with internal departments to ensure compliance with MHPAEA and state laws. You will report to the Director and Lead Counsel, Mental Health Parity Compliance.

The role emphasizes building strong relationships, coordinating cross-functional activities, and delivering timely parity analyses and documentation for regulators and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of health solutions/services experience.
• Bachelor's degree; alternative: +2 years of relevant experience.
• MHPAEA or healthcare regulations knowledge (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify issues to assist parity compliance team members and business owners.
• Develop and oversee cross functional activities to educate on and document MHPAEA compliance.
• Develop and continually update program plans, timelines, and deliverables for parity analyses.
• Deliver high quality solutions with aggressive timeframes and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Create a communication plan with leadership to support the initiative.
