Job summary

ID Logistics US in Salt Lake City is hiring a Warehouse Associate to pick/put-away, load/unload and stage products using powered industrial equipment. You will maintain neat, safe work areas, inspect equipment daily, and ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate while following OSHA standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of related warehouse experience; forklift and OSHA certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three or more years of related warehouse experience.
• Must obtain equipment certifications (OSHA, etc.).
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Pick or put-away boxes from cages into racks (VNA) and load using powered equipment.
• Unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials.
• Maintain equipment and a neat, clean work area; inspect equipment daily.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.

• Pick or Put-away boxes from cages into racks (VNA)
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment.
• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
• On a daily basis, inspect assigned equipment.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded and shipped.
• Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Report quality variances.
• Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely.
• Coordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation and Maintenance.
• Perform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process.
• Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that can’t be self-corrected to the leadership team.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule shift

• Friday - Sunday 7:00 pm to 7:30 am or 7am TO 7:30pm
• Monday - Thursday 7am to 5:30pm or 7pm to 5:30am

Salary

• $23.00 per hour
• CONVERSION shift diff. depending shift

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.).
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies
