Job summary

ID Logistics US in Ocala, FL is hiring for a Night Shift Warehouse Associate. You will pick/put-away boxes from cages, load and unload goods, and stock materials using powered equipment.

Daily tasks include inspecting equipment, maintaining orderly work areas, and ensuring accurate inbound/outbound shipments. You must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to obtain required certifications (OSHA, equipment).

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; 3+ years related experience.
  • Must obtain and maintain equipment certifications (OSHA, etc.).
  • Able to wear personal protective equipment per safety policy.

Responsibilities

  • Pick or Put-away boxes from cages into racks (VNA).
  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using powered industrial equipment.
  • Inspect assigned equipment daily and maintain it in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage; report variances.
  • Keep records to guarantee tight inventory control and security; assist in inventories.
  • Follow safety rules and coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy.

  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment.
  • Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
  • On a daily basis, inspect assigned equipment.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
  • Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
  • Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas.
  • Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded and shipped.
  • Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
  • Report quality variances.
  • Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
  • Assist in physical inventories.
  • Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely.
  • Coordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation and Maintenance.
  • Perform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process.
  • Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that can’t be self-corrected to the leadership team.
  • Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
  • Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM
Salary
  • $18.50 per hour
  • Shift differential $2.00 per hour

Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.).
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies.
