Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Service Technician II to perform maintenance, repairs and PMs on material handling equipment, automated systems, and conveyors across customer sites. You will schedule PMs, diagnose issues using OEM software, and coordinate parts while maintaining accurate records.

The role emphasizes safety, 5S housekeeping, and teamwork with site managers and operations leaders, requiring 2–4 years of mechanic experience and CST/Journeyman certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or tech school graduate required.
• 2-4 years of mechanic experience; preferably with MHE, automated systems, and conveyors.
• ASE Certification preferred; Electrical journeyman certification preferred.
• Electrical and pneumatic experience preferred.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems on multiple equipment types.
• Read and understand electrical/hydraulic schematics; use related diagrams.
• Proficient with email, work order management software, and mobile apps.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to safely operate lift trucks; 5S workspace discipline.

Responsibilities

• Schedule PMs for all Fleet Services equipment and maintain PM records.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on MHE, batteries, and conveyors.
• Communicate equipment status, timelines, and issues to site managers and operations.
• Meet performance metrics like first-time fix rate and PM completion timing.
• Manage parts and inventory records; coordinate with Parts team.
• Access OEM software to diagnose, troubleshoot, and program equipment.
• Use wiring diagrams and manuals to diagnose and replace components.
• Maintain clean, organized workspace; follow 5S principles.
• Ensure OSHA and site safety standards are followed during maintenance.
