Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Service Technician II to perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance on material handling equipment, automated systems, and conveyors across customer sites. You will schedule PMs, perform diagnostics, and ensure equipment reliability while maintaining records and adhering to safety standards.

The role requires 2–4 years of mechanic experience with MHE and familiarity with OEM software, electrical schematics, and repair procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, G.E.D. or tech school graduate required.
• 2-4 years of mechanic experience; preferred with MHE, automated systems, conveyors.
• ASE Certification preferred (Silver/Gold).
• Electrical journeyman certification preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems on multiple equipment.
• Proficiency with email, work order software, and mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Planned Maintenance (PM) for Fleet Services Equipment and conveyors; keep PM records updated.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on MHE, batteries, conveyors, and automated systems.
• Communicate equipment status and project timelines to site managers and operations leaders.
• Achieve 80% technician efficiency or 100% PM completion monthly by maximizing billable hours.
• Maintain safety inspections and comply with OSHA and site standards.
• Navigate OEM software and use wiring diagrams for diagnostics and repairs.
