Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Service Technician II to maintain and repair material handling equipment and conveyors across sites. You will schedule PMs, perform repairs, and use OEM software for diagnostics while communicating with operations to meet timelines.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of mechanic experience, ASE and electrical journeyman credentials preferred, and must lift up to 50 lbs. Travel about 25% may be required. Join a safety‑driven, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years of mechanic experience with MHE, automated systems, and conveyors or similar equipment.
• ASE Certification preferred. Silver/Gold preferred.
• Electrical journeyman certification preferred.
• Electrical and pneumatic experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems on multiple types of equipment.
• Proficiency with email, work order software, and mobile apps.
• Able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and bring own tools.
• Must safely operate lift trucks.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Planned Maintenance (PM) for Fleet Services Equipment and keep PM records.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on MHE, batteries, and conveyors per OEM standards.
• Communicate equipment status and timelines with site managers and operations leaders.
• Meet or exceed service performance metrics, including response times and PM completion.
• Manage equipment condition, parts, and repair readiness with accurate records.
• Navigate OEM software and manuals to diagnose and adjust equipment.
