Job summary

The Boeing Company is hiring for a Mid- to Senior-Level Aircrew Training Specialist to support MH-139A simulator needs and courseware at the Maxwell AFB FTU in Alabama. The role involves developing training materials, conducting classroom and simulator sessions, and coordinating with US military and regulatory bodies.

Applicants should have extensive USAF helicopter aviator experience, DoD training systems exposure, and the ability to travel internationally about 10% of the time.

Qualifications

• 800+ hours as a helicopter USAF Special Missions Aviator or other US military equivalent.
• 100+ hours experience with Department of Defense training systems as an aircrew instructor.
• Experience instructing with military training systems, simulators and in-depth military aviation ethos.
• Ability to travel internationally 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Performs MH-139A academic and simulator trainings per standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Schedules and trains Maxwell AFB AFRC FTU mission.
• Develops simulator and ground school aircrew instruction.
• Develops training tools and techniques to support customer requirements.
• Coordinates with regulatory agencies to meet certification requirements.
• Leads design and development of aircrew training material.
• Oversees latest developments in training and technical ideas.
• Mentors trainees as necessary.
• This position is for shifts as assigned.
