Job summary

FedEx Group is seeking a strategic planning leader to manage a team that designs and develops the organization's long-range plans. This hybrid role emphasizes translating concepts into actionable strategies, coordinating input across business units, and presenting outcomes to senior leadership from a FedEx campus-based environment.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in PM, analysis, forecasting, or related fields, with a track record of leadership and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five+ years of experience in areas including, but not limited to, project management, quantitative analysis, forecasting, process improvement, or market/competitive analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and strong communications and human relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts into strategies with quantitative analysis and recommendations.
• Screen plans for strategic fit, feasibility and profitability before presenting to senior management.
• Coordinate input from major business units to integrate plans and perspectives.
• Manage human capital forecasting needs.
• Oversee portfolios of projects within the organization.
• Present information on strategic plans and initiatives to senior and executive management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

• Develop concepts into strategies, including quantitative analysis, and recommendations.
• Screens plans for strategic fit, feasibility and profitability, prior to presentation to senior management.
• Manages input from all major business units to facilitate the integration of individual business unit plans, best practices, global and multi-discipline perspectives.
• Responsible for managing human capital forecasting needs.
• Manages portfolios of projects held by the organization.
• Presents information regarding strategic plans and initiatives to senior and executive management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Five (5)+ years work experience in areas including, but not limited to, project management, quantitative analysis, forecasting, process improvement, or market/competitive analysis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Demonstrated leadership ability. Strong communications and human relations skills.

Job Conditions

Some travel required.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred location for this hybrid position is Memphis, TN. However, we will consider candidates based elsewhere within the United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories).

Candidates residing within 50 miles of a FedEx campus will be required to work on-site at a FedEx location several times per week.
