Position Description: The Manager, Radiology is responsible for the staff and activities of the Section while functioning within a matrix organizational structure. The Manager directly reports to the Administrative Director of Radiology with dotted line responsibility to the Radiology physicians. The Manager's direct reports include the Technologists and clerical staff of the Section/Division. This position will complete performance evaluations and will participate in the hiring and disciplinary action processes of their staff.
Position Requirements: Associates Degree: or Radiologic Technology Certificate program. 5 years or more of experience in Radiologic Technologist role. Skills required: Exceptional customer service, written and verbal skills. Knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook e-mail and calendar. Excellent knowledge of function and operation of Section's equipment. Certification(s) required: ARRT with Registries in specified Section managed.
Preferred Requirements: Bachelor's Degree: Radiologic Science or Business. 5 years or more of experience in Radiologic Technologist role plus 2 years of supervisory/management experience. Certification(s) preferred: Multiple registries.
