Job summary

RealtySouth in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP staff, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and employee expense reimbursements. You will review transactions, generate monthly financial reports, and coordinate with other departments while upholding company policies.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, 5–8 years of operational accounting experience, including at least 3 years in supervision, and strong

  • Effective interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple issues and projects concurrently.
  • Good organizational skills with high analysis, accuracy, quality, and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate the work of Accounts Payable staff; manage processing and payment of invoices and reimbursements.
  • Review and approve accounts payable transactions and perform reconciliations; generate monthly reports.
  • Administrative activities for department management including safety, salary administration, and performance evaluations.
  • Plan, organize, measure, and report the work within the department; assist with annual budget preparation.
  • Apply organizational policies and ensure adherence to procedures; help establish department goals.
  • Provide liaison with other departments and notify employees of policy changes.
  • Perform any additional responsibilities as requested.

  • Manage operationsforaccounts payable and employee expense reimbursement processing and payment.Distribute work to staff,monitorresultsand resolve discrepancies.Ensurecompliance with company policies and thatmonth-endclosetimelines are met.(25-30%)
  • Reviewand approveaccountspayabletransactions,employee expense reimbursementsand performnecessaryreconciliations.Generate monthly financial and variance reports.(25-30%)
  • Perform administrative activities necessary formanagement of thedepartment;employee safety,selection,development, salary administration, counseling,motivation, and performance evaluation.(15-20%)
  • Plan, organize, measure, andreportthe work performed within the department.Mayassistwith the preparation of the annual budget,analyzeand interpret results.(15-20%)

Qualifications

Education:

$104,000 - $126,000 annually; actual wage is based upon education and experience. Potential for annual discretionary bonus.
