Job summary

Cass Information Systems, Inc. seeks a Managed File Transfer (MFT) Specialist to set up and maintain file transfer connections for internal and external customers. The role coordinates with EDI, Infrastructure and Security teams to ensure data flows smoothly and issues are resolved promptly.

Responsibilities include monitoring MFT servers, performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting onboarding of new customers. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years IT experience, preferably with file transfer protocols and networking.
• Experience with SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and AS2 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain file transfer connections for internal and external customers.
• Monitor file transfer servers and perform routine maintenance and changes.
• Troubleshoot transmission issues and escalate as necessary.
• Coordinate with EDI, Infrastructure and Security teams to ensure accurate results.
• Provide on-call support for Incident Response as needed.
• Document MFT processes and develop reports for business units.
• Assist onboarding of new customers with connection setup, testing, and go-live.
