Job summary

The Family Institute invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor role within the MSMFT program. Core duties include designing an outcome-based education framework, assessing student learning, and contributing to program governance at CAPFS.

You will teach both on-ground and online MSMFT courses, supervise graduate students, advise learners, and engage in scholarly activities while maintaining a clinical caseload as part of a dynamic, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in MFT/CFT from COAMFTE-accredited program.
• AAMFT Approved Supervisor or Candidate.
• Licensed as an LMFT or eligible in Illinois.
• Experience teaching graduate-level MFT courses.
• Experience supervising graduate students in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver an outcome-based education framework.
• Assess student competencies and program operations with data.
• Serve on core faculty governance and admissions committees.
• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to supervisor candidates.
• Support student development and career planning.
