Job summary

Baylor University is seeking a Clinical Assistant Professor for its Marriage and Family Therapy program. The position is a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure-track role in a newly developed hybrid MS program.

The faculty will teach graduate MFT courses, supervise students, coordinate offsite placements, and contribute to program development and accreditation activities. The successful candidate will participate in recruitment, applicant interviews, and service on committees, with travel to Waco, TX

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate.
• ABD candidates may be considered for a terminal degree.
• Doctoral degree in MFT is preferred.
• Experience with hybrid/online teaching and program development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate-level MFT courses year-round.
• Provide clinical supervision to MFT students.
• Coordinate offsite clinical placements.
• Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
