Job summary

The State of Indiana seeks a Money Follows the Person Data Quality Analyst to ensure data integrity, compile and analyze participant data, and generate quality performance indicators for Medicaid-related programs.

You will work with the Bureau of Better Aging and the Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning, develop reporting structures, and help maintain compliance with state, federal, and grant requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with data manipulation including cleansing, standardizing, transforming.
• Knowledge of statistical software and querying databases; ability to learn.
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, R, Python, PowerBI, and/or ArcGIS.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain professional relationships.
• A degree is not required; 2+ years in a similar role may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Compile, analyze, and fulfill MFP data reporting requirements.
• Coordinate communications between bureaus and agencies to meet objectives.
• Develop and implement quality assurance initiatives for data integrity.
• Create data visualizations to communicate findings to target audiences.
• Adhere to HIPAA, PII, PHI and state/federal/compliance standards.
