Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. is seeking a per diem MFM Ultrasound Technologist for the New Maternal Fetal Medicine Practice in New Bedford, MA. You will work 8:00am–4:30pm on day shifts within a supportive team delivering high-quality obstetric imaging.

Qualifications include ARDMS in OB/GYN, BLS, and at least two years in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Vaccination as required by policy and participation in hospital programs are expected.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography with ARDMS in OBGYN.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum two years of Maternal Fetal Medicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform diversified clinical ultrasound exams in MFM as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
• Obtain patient data, position patient, operate imaging equipment and document findings.
• Ensure quality imaging, educate patients, and assist physicians during procedures.
