Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group in Dallas, TX is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to perform detailed fetal anatomy surveys and assist with procedures in a high-risk setting. The role emphasizes accurate documentation and collaboration with perinatologists to support diagnostic accuracy.

You will prepare patients, explain exams, generate clear preliminary reports, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited sonography program with a degree in ultrasonography or equivalent.
• Maintain or be eligible for ARDMS certification.
• ARDMS OB/GYN or Fetal Echo (FE) certified or eligible within 12 months of hire.
• Evidence of continuing education credits to fulfill accreditation requirements.
• NT experience or certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys, including twins and triplets; acquire data for interpretation by a physician.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
• Accurately document exam findings, measurements, images, and procedural details in reporting systems.
• Record patient history, indications, and observations per protocols.
• Generate clear preliminary reports for interpreting physician review and final signature.
• Review studies with physicians to communicate findings and support diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain documentation, safety, and compliance with policies and standards.
• Rotate to other locations as needed to cover absences.
