Job summary

AMN Healthcare in Anchorage, Alaska seeks a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician for locum tenens coverage starting ASAP. The role covers inpatient and outpatient settings with a 8:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule, plus weeknight and 24-hour weekend on-call duties; about 1-2 weeks per month, January 2027 start and ongoing.

Candidates must hold Alaska medical licensure, be board-certified in MFM, and possess BLS and PALS certifications; Epic EMR experience is required.

Qualifications

• Active Alaska Medical License required.
• Board certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine with current BLS and PALS.
• Epic EMR experience

Responsibilities

• MFM consultations and high-risk obstetrics care.
• Interpretation and performance of obstetric ultrasound as needed.
• Consultative role with OB physicians; deliveries not required but preferred.
• Credentialing timeframe typically 60–90 days.
