Job summary

All-StarHealthcare Solutions in Alaska is seeking a Maternal-Fetal Medicine locum to cover a Level 2 trauma center. The assignment requires on-site presence, ultrasound capability, and a commitment of 1–2 weeks per month starting in January, with clinic and beeper call obligations including weeknights and weekends.

You will work in inpatient and outpatient settings, with Epic EMR, consults with obstetric teams, and a strong preference for obstetric deliveries when possible.

Qualifications

• Active license required.
• Board certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine preferred.
• Experience in maternal-fetal medicine and ability to perform obstetric ultrasounds.

Responsibilities

• Consult with obstetric teams regarding high-risk pregnancies.
• Perform obstetric ultrasounds as required.
• Coordinate care in inpatient and outpatient settings; on-call coverage as described.

ASHS represents a facility in Alaska in need of Maternal-Fetal medicine locums coverage.

• Must be able to perform ultrasounds
• Minimum Commitment: 1-2 weeks per month
• Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
• Schedule Type: Clinic and Call
• Call Type: Weeknight Beeper Call and 24-Hour Weekend Beeper Call
• Schedule: Monday-Friday + Weekend Call
• Dates of Need: January start, ongoing
• Shift Times: Clinic Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call
• License Requirement: Active license only
• Board Requirement: Board Certified
• Provider must be onsite for the assignment
• MFM Responsibilities: Consult with OBs and will not be required to do deliveries; however, the ability to perform deliveries is strongly preferred
• EMR System: Epic
• Trauma Level: Level 2 Trauma Center
