Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician for locum tenens work in Anchorage, Alaska. The role covers inpatient and outpatient obstetrics, with 24-hour weekend beeper calls and weeknight on-call. Start ASAP with ongoing coverage.

Epic EMR is in use; BLS and PALS certifications are required; Alaska medical licensure is necessary. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with on‑call requirements. No deliveries required, though preferred.

Qualifications

• Board certification in maternal-fetal medicine required.
• Active Alaska Medical License.
• Credentialing timeframe of 60–90 days.
• Experience with obstetric ultrasound interpretation and fetal assessments.
• Inpatient and outpatient practice setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide Maternal-Fetal Medicine consultations and high‑risk obstetrics care.
• Interpret obstetric ultrasounds and perform fetal assessments.
• Collaborate with OB physicians; deliveries not required but preferred.
