Job summary

Scioto Services, a Marsden Holding Company, is seeking a Metropolitan Library Cleaning Supervisors role in Columbus, OH to supervise daily cleaning operations for one or more buildings and train cleaning staff.

The position offers $22.00–$24.00 per hour, requires adherence to safety protocols, ability to work with minimal supervision, and capability to manage schedules and trainings.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Must agree to wear any and all necessary personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facility security/safety by ensuring doors are locked after operating hours.
• Measure, label, and use chemicals following proper procedures and safety protocols.
• Empty Trash.
• High and low dusting.
• Clean and service restrooms, breakrooms, and conference and kitchen areas.
• Report maintenance issues of the facility and/or equipment to the Account Manager.
• Train assigned personnel on cleaning methods, procedures, and equipment.
• Provide work direction to personnel under the guidance of, and directed by, the manager.
• Perform routine inspections of work performed by cleaning personnel.
• Serve as backup for absent personnel.

Summary

Under the direction of the account or area manager, the supervisoris responsible for the daily cleaning of one or more buildings, including direct supervision and training of cleaning associates.

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor facility security/safety by ensuring doors are locked after operating hours
