Job summary

Scioto Services/Alpha and Omega is seeking a facilities supervisor to oversee daily cleaning of one or more buildings, supervise and train cleaning associates, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Under the direction of the account or area manager, you will enforce procedures, manage scheduling, provide direction, perform routine inspections, and serve as a backup for absent staff.

• Communicate effectively for training and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facility security/safety by ensuring doors are locked after operating hours.
• Measure, label, and use chemicals following proper procedures and safety protocols.
• Empty trash.
• High and low dusting.
• Clean and service restrooms, breakrooms, and conference/kitchen areas.
• Report maintenance issues to the Account Manager.
• Train assigned personnel on cleaning methods, procedures, and equipment.
• Provide work direction to personnel under supervision of the manager.
• Perform routine inspections of cleaning work.
• Serve as backup for absent personnel.

Summary

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor facility security/safety by ensuring doors are locked after operating hours
• Measure, label, and use chemicals following proper procedures and adhering to safety protocol
• Empty Trash
• High and low dusting
• Clean and service restrooms, breakrooms, and conference and kitchen areas
• Report maintenance issues of the facility and/or equipment to the Account Manager
• Trainassigned personnel on cleaning methods, procedures, and equipment
• Provide work direction to personnel under the guidance of, and directed by, the manager
• Performroutine inspections of work performed by cleaning personnel
• Serve as backup for absent personnel
