Job summary
Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Metrology Technician in Perrysburg, Ohio to develop, evaluate, and maintain calibration systems measuring physical and chemical phenomena. You will define standards for length, mass, time, temperature, and current, ensuring instrumentation meets tight accuracy requirements.

Qualifications
- Education and experience requirements for metrology and GD&T proficiency.
- Experience with CMM programming and precision measurement tools.
- Proficient in reading complex engineering blueprints and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Measurement System Governance: Develop and maintain calibration systems and standards.
- Precision Metrology & Inspection: Operate CMMs and GD&T expertise.
- Error Analysis: Identify and reduce measurement uncertainty and perform audits.
- Analytical Testing: Test raw materials and finished products for quality claims.
- Technical Leadership: Lead engineering and lab teams as SME in metrology.
- Equipment & Facility Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment.
