We are seeking an experienced Metrology Team Lead to support dimensional inspection, alignment, and verification activities on complex satellite hardware and assemblies. This position utilizes precision measurement technologies such as Laser Trackers, Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), Portable CMM systems (Romer Arms), and 3D scanning equipment to ensure components and assemblies meet engineering requirements.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise with Spatial Analyzer (SA) software and working knowledge of PC-DMIS while performing precision measurement activities in a high-accuracy manufacturing environment.
In addition to technical responsibilities, this individual will provide daily leadership to the metrology team by coordinating priorities, assigning work, and ensuring measurement tasks are completed accurately and efficiently in support of production objectives.
The Metrology Team Lead will oversee daily work execution and scheduling activities through Jira or similar project-tracking systems.
This position serves as an important link between manufacturing, quality, and metrology teams to drive productivity and maintain inspection accuracy.
