Qualifications

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, other applicable engineering/science discipline or equivalent.
• Strong technical writing capability and solid communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical and dimensional measurements.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 and/or Z-540 standards.
• Ability to develop an uncertainty budget in accordance with the GUM method.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain calibration systems, procedures, and methods for measurement and test equipment.
• Evaluate new calibration methods and procedures.
• Maintain calibration laboratory and quality system.
• Troubleshoot causes of process failures and out of control conditions.
• Work closely with personnel responsible for other processes.
