Qualifications

• BA or BS in a technical discipline with 6+ years in metrology or QA.
• Minimum 3 years in supervisory/lead role in a technical setting.
• Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards: ASTM, NADCAP, ISO 9001, ISO 17025, AS9100.
• Solid understanding of dimensional metrology and test methods.
• Leadership and proactive collaboration in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee calibration lab and manufacturing product line workflows.
• Maintain procedures, work instructions, and forms.
• Foster a team atmosphere through communication, feedback, and incentives.
• Support calibration and certification projects with engineering, product development, and quality teams.
• Monitor and report metrics on performance and quality.
• Manage departmental budget and resources.
• Drive Continuous Process Improvement with LEAN, 5S, and Six Sigma.
