Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Metrology, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of measurement principles, statistics, and calibration techniques.
• Familiarity with EMS (REES points), balances, pipettes, multimeters, thermometers, and optical instruments.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
• Ability to travel up to 5% and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, verify, and validate lab instruments, EMS systems, and equipment per procedures and standards.
• Maintain calibration schedules and records for all lab equipment in regulatory compliance.
• Review and approve calibration work of teammates and vendors.
• Troubleshoot issues with measurement equipment and coordinate with external vendors for service.
• Develop procedures for handling, storage, and use of standards and reference materials.
• Assist in selection and procurement of new metrology equipment and evaluate technical specs.
• Serve as subject matter expert in SAP CMMS, including day-to-day use, work orders, and asset management.
• Provide visibility into upcoming and pending work, metrics, and workload assessments.
