Job summary

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence seeks an Applications Engineer to provide technical sales and applications support for metrology solutions. You will demonstrate products, develop applications, and offer training and troubleshooting to customers.

The role partners with sales and engineering to translate requirements into effective measurement solutions, supporting both prospective and existing customers while traveling up to 75% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of related professional experience encouraged.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with end-to-end issue resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to small groups.
• Customer service mindset and ability to collaborate with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hardware and software product demonstrations to showcase features and performance.
• Translate customer requirements into practical metrology solutions.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and marketing to align applications with customer needs.
• Prepare technical specifications and requirements to support quotes and proposals.
• Develop programs and applications meeting customer specs and measurement objectives.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot application, software, and hardware issues.
