USF is seeking a Metrologist in Georgetown, TX to lead dimensional conformance in the metrology lab. You will calibrate holding fixtures, check fixtures and quality gages, and make final decisions on dimensional layouts and capability studies with customer or blueprint direction.

The role involves maintaining calibration, conducting capability studies, managing CMM operations, and ensuring lab records and 5S standards are upheld, with no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of statistical methods used in quality and metrology.
• Understanding of gauges, fixtures, and measurement devices.
• Clear communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
• Ability to work with team to ensuremetrology lab standards.

Responsabilités

• Verify hold log and ensure product flow in and out of hold.
• Submit annual validation parts and requests.
• Perform capability studies and analysis.
• Manage calibration and maintenance of QAS equipment (gage/fixture).
• Maintain lab records and ensure 5S compliance.
• Operate and learn programming of CMM.
