Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) in San Antonio, TX is seeking entry level Methods Process Analysts to apply industrial engineering concepts to develop operating and recovery plans, conduct capacity analyses, and refine precedence networks.

This onsite role requires a bachelor’s degree and basic Excel skills, with preferred aerospace experience and familiarity with scheduling tools like Aurora. You will work in cross-functional teams to improve processes, cost and schedule performance.

Job description

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking entry level Methods Process Analysts to support the Executive Fleet program. Candidates should be comfortable working in a high pressure, fast paced environment. In this role you will have the opportunity to apply Industrial Engineering concepts to develop operating plans and recovery plans, conduct capacity and constraint-based analysis, develop and refine precedence networks, and conduct overall process effectiveness studies. You will also have opportunities to develop, implement, and improve processes focused on lowering costs and improving schedule performance and quality. Candidates must be able to operate within a multi-functional team, coordinating with various departments. This position will be 100% onsite at the San Antonio, TX location. Candidate must be a US citizen.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develops Operating plans and Recovery plans as needed.
• Learn and support utilization and development of models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data (e.g., statistics, operations research, trend and production impacts).
• Improves processes to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality through the application of Lean and other Industrial Engineering concepts.
• Develops solutions to routine technical problems.
• Collaborates cross functionally to gather data for process improvements. This may include observing, documenting processes, and collecting data in manufacturing areas or on aircraft during various production phases.
• Schedules work plans, conducts data analysis (historical, trends and production impacts), staffing and process improvements.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience)

• Bachelors degree
• Beginner excel knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

• Aircraft / Aerospace industry experience.
• Experience with 3D Computer aided design tools such as IVT.
• Experience with Boeing standard scheduling tools such as Aurora.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.
• Experience conducting/leading Time studies and reporting out to leadership.

Physical Requirements

• Able to walk, stand, and enter aircraft via steps or ladders. Able to lift up to 35lbs Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this request.

Pay Rate Range

30 - 35 USD hourly
