Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a technical sales expert to support the sales team, troubleshoot issues, train customers, and guide solution-oriented sales for utility commodities and related technologies. You will service customers in both office and field settings.

You will lead presentations, influence specifications, and coordinate with engineering and program management to deliver tailored solutions. BS/BA required, 2–3 years in a related field; utility maintenance experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
• 2-3 years' experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new accounts and retain existing accounts.
• Deliver solution-oriented technical products, services, installations, and configurations to customers.
• Influence customer specifications for mutual benefit.
• Provide strategic direction to local sales team and drive a consultative sales process.
• Serve as technical interface between customer and engineering, manufacturing, and program management.
