Volto Consulting is seeking a Meter to Cash Developer to design and implement CIS billing and payment capabilities at scale in a utilities context. You will work on billing cycles, invoicing flows, and payment processing integrations across multiple systems.

The role requires deep expertise in Meter to Cash processes, CIS platforms, and strong Java/SQL skills to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in utilities domain with strong focus on CIS billing and payments.
• Hands on experience in Meter to Cash processes, especially billing, invoicing, collections, and payments.
• Experience with CIS platforms.
• Strong understanding of rate structures, billing cycles, and financial transactions in utilities.
• Proficiency in Java, SQL, APIs, and integration development.
• Experience in handling large scale billing and transaction data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance CIS billing and payment modules across Meter to Cash processes.
• Configure and customize billing, invoicing, collections, and payment processing workflows.
• Build integrations with upstream/downstream systems (metering, CRM, finance, payment gateways).
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs for billing and payment solutions.
• Support data migration, reconciliation, and validation for billing and financial transactions.
• Troubleshoot billing defects, payment failures, and production issues.
• Collaborate with functional SMEs on rate, tariff, and billing rule configurations.
