Job summary

Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, seeks a Meter Setter / Meter Trouble Shooter (Third Class) for a Tuesday–Saturday shift in Great Valley. You will install, repair and replace water meters and related materials from 1/2" to 2" with accuracy, reading meters and analyzing consumption.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, readiness to lift up to 85 lbs, and familiarity with Service Link, Aqua GIS, AIMS, AMRA, Banner and Microsoft Office. Overtime and on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• LicensedJourneyman/apprentice plumber preferred.
• Meter installation/repair & replacement of meters 1/2"–2".
• Ability to read and interpret meter readings and analyze consumption.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (Company/OSHA).
• Ability to read/interpet pipelines and construction plans as related to Meter Operations.
• Proficiency with Service Link, Aqua GIS, AIMS, AMRA, Banner and Microsoft Office.
• Capable of lifting up to 85 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime, after hours, holidays and weekends.
• Perform tasks as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and replace meters and meter-related materials (1/2" to 2").
• Read meters and interpret consumption data to support billing and service reliability.
• Follow safety regulations and read construction plans for meter operations.
