Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical/electronic technology or four years of related work experience.
• Background in substation, metering, instrumentation, controls, power systems or electrical maintenance.
• State Driver License is required.
• Medical certification may be required by law.
• Complete the company training program within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Read meters for field orders and cycle billing.
• Install, remove, disconnect and reconnect meters.
• Test single phase, network, and polyphase meters for accuracy.
• Program meters and handle related credit/disconnect orders.
• Investigate irregular usage and energy diversion.
• Repair meters, sockets and enclosures; manage inventory.
