Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience (4 yrs) in electrical systems.
• Hands-on testing, troubleshooting and working with electrical equipment demonstrated.
• Must have and maintain a State Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Read meters as required for field order and cycle billing.
• Install, remove, change disconnect, and reconnect meters.
• Test single phase, network, and polyphase self-contained meters for operation and accuracy.
• Program meters and support energy-related orders including disconnect/reconnect for non-payment.
• Investigate irregular usage and energy diversion.
• Repair meters, sockets, and enclosures; manage meter equipment inventory.
