Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2–5 years hands-on machining applications experience or demonstrated proficiency in MW applications.
• Engineering education, experience or background preferred.
• Lean or Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Manufacturing process experience preferred.
• Previous field sales experience with a distributor or metalworking tooling manufacturer preferred.
• Machining productivity improvement or cost savings initiatives preferred.
• Well-rounded proficiency across broad range of metalworking applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support achievement of metalworking sales and gross margin goals for the territory.
• Drive accelerated MW sales growth within identified Accounts and strategic suppliers.
• Support customer vending opportunities and cost-savings initiatives.
• Maintain a MW Opportunity Funnel in Salesforce and log customer engagement.
• Provide technical support for metalworking applications to sales and customers.
• Coordinate local supplier support for tool testing and regional meetings.
• Participate in strategic supplier initiatives and offer exclusive brand support.
