Job summary

Ryerson in the United States is seeking a Buyer to manage MRP inputs at the item level and collaborate with the Supply Chain Director and vendors. You will help execute strategic supply chain plans and support vendor development.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in business or manufacturing supply chain, knowledge of MRP/inventory control, SAP experience, and strong skills in Excel and SharePoint. Base salary ranges with experience are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or manufacturing supply chain-related field is required.
• Understanding of MRP or inventory control systems is preferred.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Strong Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Timely execution of MRP for internally sourced items and external buys.
• Replenishment, order maintenance, and stock service level review.
• Manage inventory and redeploy slow-moving items as needed.
• Maintain material part numbers and vendor records.
• Review and adjust MRP to meet demand and business needs.
• Support vendor relationships and procurement projects.
