Job summary

Ryerson is seeking a Buyer to manage MRP inputs at the item level and work with the Supply Chain Director to align vendor activities with strategic buy plans. You will support commercial teams and help develop vendor relationships to seize opportunities.

Responsibilities include timely MRP execution, inventory control, and maintaining records. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and SAP experience are preferred. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or manufacturing supply chain.
• Understanding of MRP or inventory control systems.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Strong analytical and communication skills; organized and deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

• Timely execution of MRP for internally sourced items and external buys as needed.
• Replenishment, order maintenance, stock service level review.
• Manage inventory to support sales within budget.
• Maintain material part numbers and vendor records.
