Job summary

The role requires strong reading and interpretation skills, effective communication, and a track record of safety training. Day-to-day duties include coordinating with shift leads and supervising transient team members while adhering to PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• GET or GERT certification is required.
• Powered Industrial Truck and crane operating certifications are required.
• Rad Worker II and respirator qualifications are required.
• 24 hour Hazwoper and RCRA qualifications are required.
• PIV qualification and confined space qualification are preferred.
• Monitor qualified and 40 hour Hazwoper certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME guidance on safety and procedures to workers.
• Operate waste processing equipment per procedures.
• Maintain logs and records for materials and shipments.
• Conduct daily safety briefs and quality checks.
• Train others to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
