Job summary

EnergySolutions seeks a shift supervisor to oversee daily waste processing activities at Oak Ridge. After training, role transitions to a weekend, 12-hour shift schedule (Fri-Sun) to meet production goals and safety standards.

You will lead a team, manage schedules, ensure adherence to procedures, train new staff, and maintain records while coordinating with supervisors and HR as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in waste processing/remediation.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
• Must meet safety and radiological guidelines.
• Ability to read and follow production instructions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of workers in waste processing.
• Lead shift planning, scheduling and resource use.
• Communicate safety, quality and procedural issues.
• Ensure adherence to policies and safety procedures.
• Train new team members and maintain qualifications.
• Maintain time and production records; assist with reviews.
• Perform duties of supervised workers when needed.
