Qualifications

• BS in Metallurgical Engineering, Material Science or Chemical Engineering required; MS preferred.
• Solid understanding of physical metallurgy and thermomechanical processing.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications and translate into feasible process plans.

Responsibilities

• Define key process parameters and establish process capabilities and control methods.
• Develop efficient manufacturing methods to meet product requirements.
• Implement cost, product, and process improvements with sustainability.
• Monitor product performance including properties, length, straightness, and yield.
• Review customer specifications for acceptance and interface with sales to resolve gaps.
• Maintain document control systems and databases and participate in management reviews.
• Interface with customers on quality-related issues.
