Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is seeking an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical methods in alignment with QA programs and SOPs. The role may involve standing for long periods, handling organic solvents, glassware, and specialized equipment.

The position focuses on Metals Prep and related disciplines, with 2nd shift hours (3pm-11:30pm) Tue-Sat and 1st shift training.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related laboratory experience in lieu of degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including reading, writing and speaking English.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques.
• Perform chemical analysis using standard techniques.
• Evaluate and quantify data and report results to supervisor.
• Maintain and perform routine instrument maintenance and QC checks.
• Keep training documentation current and accurate.
• Review backlog reports to manage workload.
• Follow approved SOPs and QA standards.
• Assist in other areas of the laboratory when needed
