Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing in Lancaster, PA is seeking an Associate Chemist (Tuesday-Saturday 2nd shift) to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical techniques, in accordance with approved SOPs and QA programs. The role may involve standing, working with organic solvents and specialized lab equipment.

Training on 1st shift is provided; compensation is $18 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related lab experience in lieu of degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required, including reading, writing and speaking English.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques.
• Perform chemical analysis using standard techniques.
• Evaluate and quantify data.
• Record and report data to the supervisor.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance.
