Job summary

IMS Gear is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead Metals Production Operations in a high-volume automotive setting. You will oversee production, quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple shifts and a large team.

You will drive performance on safety, quality, delivery, and cost while meeting customer expectations and production targets, collaborating with engineering, quality, logistics, and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.
• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership in high-volume environments.
• Experience managing 40+ direct reports across multiple shifts.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
• Proven ability to drive operational improvements and meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage production operations across multiple shifts.
• Direct and develop a team of 40+ employees across various roles.
• Drive performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Monitor and improve key metrics (OEE, scrap, defects, inventory, efficiency).
• Lead daily production meetings and shop floor management.
