Zusammenfassung

SGS East Syracuse, NY laboratory is seeking a Lab Analyst to join its Metals team. The analyst will prepare and analyze samples following SGS SOPs, and work independently or with the team to meet daily production targets.

Strong basic chemistry knowledge and safe lab practices are required. Applicants should have an Associate or Bachelor degree in chemistry and 0–2 years of experience in analytical labs (or 3 years relevant experience).

Qualifikationen

• Associate or Bachelor degree in chemistry or related field.
• 0-2 years in analytical chemistry laboratories or 3 years relevant experience.
• Experience with ICP is desirable and GC experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and analyze samples according to SGS SOPs.
• Perform routine instrument operation, maintenance and calibration.
• Assist with validation and LOQ studies.
• Respond to client inquiries and CAPs with findings.
• Maintain Laboratory Notebook and adhere to standards.
• Support daily production targets and safety rules.
